OUR ITINERARIES
We organize sailing trips to different destinations at the Nahuel Huapi lake.
Our itineraries are adapted according with your experience, preference and the weather conditions.
Sailing experience is not required, the Captain (Skipper) will take care of all sailing operation.
Otherwise, we have specially designed introduction sailing trips.
A high quality experience, with personal service, at a reasonable price!
a) GROUP TRIPS We organise groups with different people who like to sail and to visit the Arrayanes forest.
ARRAYANES FOREST - Daily departures 11.30am
Up to 7 sailors / passengers
Duration: 4.30 hours
Sailing distance: 30 km (17 miles) round sailing trip
We go sailing to the Arrayanes forest and come back using the outboard.
You will stay 1 hour visiting the Arrayanes forest. Pasengers will have the opportunity to walk it 300 meters trial basically alones (without the invading of big catamarans mass tourism).
It will be a relaxing sail trip, watching amazing harbors, coasts, forest and natural beauty.
If passenger prefer, during the trip we can talk about sailing, winds, geolocial origin of rocks within the lake coast, history of the region, etc. Usually passengers bring their food for lunck (some sandwichs and no alcohol drinks).
NOTE.
Passengers should buy their ticket entry to the Arrayanes National Park before aboard the sailboat (The Tourism Office its located beside our departure pier: bahia Mansa pier).




b) CUSTOM SHORT TRIPS:
ONLY YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WILL BE ABOARD !!!.
Sailing experience is not required. (The Captain manages all our itineraries)
According with the number of hours you chose to book, we will sail and visit different places:

1 HOUR SAILING TRIP
Sailing distance: 10 km.
Departure hour: 4:00 pm.
It is a relaxing sailing. We go sailing (beating) to these bays, and come back using the outboard.
From the sailboat, we will watch the evergreen forest mixed with private houses, mansions and a spectacular golf club call Cumelen (In 2017 the Royal Danish Family chose Cumelen country club to spends christmas there).


Sailing distance: 17 km.
Departure hour: 4:00 pm.
We will enjoy sailing Cumelen and las Balsas bays. We will sail beating and dead run (wind coming from ahead and from astern).
Optional: During the 3 or 4 hours sailing trip we can anchor 1/2 hour in an amazing place at the middle of the lake to have a snack (smoked salmon, trout, deer, boar and cheese) watching the sunset. (If you prefer, you can bring wine for the snack).
2-3-4 HOURS SAILING TRIP


Sailing distance: 35 km. - Departure hour: 4.00 pm.
We will enjoy sailing the beatifull Cumelen, las Balsas, Mansano and Lynch bays, catching winds and trimming sails within an spectacular natural environment. We will sail beating and dead run (wind coming from ahead and from astern).
Optional: We can anchor 1/2 hour at Lynch bay to have a snack (smoked salmon, trout, deer, boar and cheese). Mineral water is always included. If you prefer, you can bring wine for the snack. (It is our most popular itinerary).
5 HOURS SAILING TRIP


Sailing distance: 42 km. Departure hour: 10.30 am.
Similar to a 5 hours trip but we also visit the Arrayanes forest in private:
We will sail beating, reaching and dead run within Cumelen, las Balsas, Mansano and Lynch bays. You will stay 45 minutes visiting in silence the Arrayanes forest (without the invading of big catamarans mass tourism).
Optional: We can anchor 1/2 hour at Lynch bay to have a snack a snack (smoked salmon, trout, deer, boar and cheese) watching the sunset. (If you prefer, you can bring wine for the snack).
6 HOURS SAILING TRIP - Private visit to the Arrayanes Forest




NOTE.
THE ARRAYANES NATIONAL PARK: conserves an almost pure forest.
The amount and age of these ORANGE TREES make it unique in the world !!!.
This amazing forest is located in the extreme south of the Quetrihué Peninsula, We always try to visit it when there are no catamarans in the area. So we avoid massive tourism, so you can enjoy visiting it almost alone (and in silence !).
MANZANO BAY: located at the NE. coast of the Nahuel Huapi Lake coast it is famous for it boutique hotels, green waters and it exuberant woods.
During the trip, some passenger like to try swim on the freezing lake water.
We definetely dont recomend to you to try. However if you want to try it anyway, during summer season, on hot sunny days and "under your responsability", we can take you to a shallow beach and lend you life jackets.
c) EXCLUSIVE TRIPS:
VICTORIA ISLAND - Piedras Blancas bay
Duration: all day - 10 hs. (70 km/40 NM round trip)
Sailing experience is not required. Up to 4/5 passengers.
We will sail toward the SE; through the QUETRIHUE PENINSULA (along the beautifully Bustillo, Kraft and Manzano bays). After crossing La Guardias islands we will continues our navigation towards the most beautiful and inhospitable places of the lake "Piedras Blancas" bay (white stone bay), on the east cost (wild) of Victoria Island.
Our adventure will continues saling to "Puerto Gross" and "Puerto Anchorena" bays. We will visit native tree species like Arrayanes, Coihues, Araucarias (some of them are almost extinct) mixed with Sequoias, Aromos and Pines (species brought from Europe and US.). We can also visit walls with ancient paintings.
Later we will enjoy sailing back to La Angostura beating



PIEDRAS BLANCAS: is a natural bay at Victoria Island east coast. It installations include a pier, a camping área and toilets. We will have lunch there (an Argentinean traditional barbecue).
VICTORIA ISLAND: is a beatufull peak covered by woods, about 20 kilometers in length, locatede at the middle of the lake. Red deers teem the island and are frequently spotted along it coast from the sailboat.




c) EXCLUSIVE TRIPS:
VICTORIA ISLAND - Anchorena Port
Duration: Full day – Distance: 83 km round trip
Capacity: up to 4–5 guests
No previous experience required
An ideal experience for couples and groups of friends.
We will sail along the Quetrihué Peninsula and the west coast of Victoria Island, in a relaxed journey surrounded by nature. Along the way, we’ll spot a hidden waterfall and a lively colony of imperial cormorants.
At Bahía Anchorena, we’ll go ashore to enjoy a gourmet platter with smoked specialties, walk through trails lined with giant sequoias and pine trees, and visit a rock shelter with ancient cave paintings.
On the way back, we can stop to explore the Arrayanes Forest and, if the weather allows, visit a white-sand bay for a refreshing swim or to relax with a traditional Argentine mate.
During part of the journey, we’ll hoist our colorful spinnaker and gennaker sails – an unforgettable postcard!





c) EXCLUSIVE TRIPS:
BAHIA CHABOL - POZONES del COLORADO
Duration: Full day – Distance: 45 km round trip – Capacity: up to 5–6 guests
No previous experience required
Embark on a relaxed and charming sailing experience, ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends. We will sail along the majestic Quetrihué Peninsula, on a peaceful journey surrounded by pristine nature.
During the trip, we will stop at the small village of Chabol, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch: either a traditional Argentine barbecue or a cold platter of regional smoked specialties and cured meats. (In case of bad weather, a cozy covered barbecue hut ensures comfort at all times).
We then continue toward the mouth of the Colorado Creek at Lake Nahuel Huapi—an ideal spot for fly fishing—where you’ll discover its impressive natural pool.
On our way back, we’ll have the chance to disembark and explore the iconic Arrayanes Forest.
If the weather is kind, we can also stop at a white-sand bay to enjoy a refreshing swim or share a traditional Argentine mate on the beach.
During some stretches, when the wind allows, we’ll hoist our colorful spinnaker and gennaker sails, adding a magical touch to this unforgettable adventure.





d) EXCLUSIVE TRIPS:
2 / 3 DAYS sailing around VICTORIA ISLAND
Duration: 3 days (optional 2 days) – Total distance: 125 km – Capacity: up to 4 people
Day 1 – Heading to Victoria Island
We set sail from Villa La Angostura towards Bahía Anchorena, on the west coast of Victoria Island.
Along the way, we will spot colonies of imperial cormorants and waterfalls cascading into the lake.
At the bay (either on board or ashore), we will enjoy a gourmet platter of smoked specialties and cold cuts.

If you choose accommodation at Hostería Isla Victoria (2 nights), we will take scenic walks in the area.

If you choose glamping (1 or 2 nights), after lunch we will continue sailing to Bahía Piedras Blancas, trimming sails for a more demanding stretch along the island’s southern coast. Upon arrival, we’ll share a traditional Patagonian barbecue, enjoying a fiery sunset in a unique setting.
Day 2 – Nature and adventure
The surroundings of Piedras Blancas offer a variety of activities: Walking and light hiking trails. Fly fishing in pristine waters. Bird and deer watching. Relaxing on the beach or swimming in crystal-clear waters. Sailing and exploring the island’s hidden bays.
Day 2–3 – The Arrayanes Forest and return under sail
We will set course to the Arrayanes Forest, where we’ll enjoy a guided interpretive walk followed by a cheese fondue lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll sail through the bays of Manzano, Bustillo, and Las Balsas.
When the wind allows, we’ll hoist our spinnaker and gennaker sails, filling the horizon with color and turning the navigation into an unforgettable visual experience.





) EXCLUSIVE TRIPS:
5 DAYS – PUERTO BLEST & VICTORIA ISLAND
Duration: 5 days – Total distance: 150 km – Capacity: up to 3 guests
Day 1 – Heading to Puerto Blest
Depart from Villa La Angostura toward Bahía Anchorena (Victoria Island), with opportunities to spot cormorants and waterfalls. Brief technical stop, then continue to Puerto Tigre to enjoy a gourmet platter of smoked specialties and cold cuts.
Next, sail through the majestic Brazo Blest, passing the famous Cascada Blanca.
Accommodation for 2 nights at the prestigious Hotel Puerto Blest (dinner included).
Day 2 – Nature and Relaxation
Activities according to your interests:
Hike to Cascada Los Cántaros and the Millenary Alerce. Fly fishing in crystal-clear waters. Enjoy hotel facilities: heated pool, lake-view terraces, and relaxation areas.
Day 3 – Exploring the Southeast of Victoria Island
Early departure to the southeast of the island. Explore hidden bays, walk among sequoias and towering pines, and visit a rock shelter with ancient paintings.
Lunch with cheese fondue, then arrive at Bahía Piedras Blancas at sunset to enjoy a traditional Patagonian barbecue by the lake.
Accommodation for 2 nights in glamping (optional tent).
Day 4 – Adventure or Relaxation on Victoria Island
A day tailored to your preference:

Adventure: sailing, hiking, fly fishing, bird and deer watching, exploring hidden bays.

Relaxation: beach, sunbathing, and unwinding in a unique natural setting.
Day 5 – Arrayanes Forest and Return
Sail to the Arrayanes Forest for a guided interpretive walk and chocolate fondue lunch.
In the afternoon, sail back to Villa La Angostura, passing through the bays of Manzano, Bustillo, and Las Balsas.
